A pilot study was made among our diabetic patient in which 50 patients were interviewed 25 men and 25 women .The patients were asked these two questions: Do you know that DM2 is a dangerous disease? And the second one was do you know what type of food to eat and not to eat? At the same time of the study 25 men healthy and non-diabetic and 25 women healthy and non-diabetic were asked to give blood specimen to check their HA1c, to see the prevalence of potential future diabetics among normal population.
Results of these three small surveys will be presented in table form and the outcome will be concluded as per the data presented.
