Self care practice and compliance to management plan
Effect on control of type one diabetes in children

Aim of study was to assess the effect of self-care practice and compliance to management plan on control of type one diabetes in children.

Setting the study was carried out at patient clinic of pediatric hospital of Ain Shams University.

Subjects the study involved all available diabetic children attending the previously mentioned setting over a 6 months period.

Tools of study involved questionnaire assessment sheets and compliance scale.
Results of study reveal that self-care practice was associated with better compliance to management plan.
